The company was among the absolute market leaders in the development of boilers for energy plants worldwide. The impact of the different conflict of law provisions in relation to the settlement of contractual relations led to a number of lawsuits, including the bankruptcy quarantine case in which our client was acquitted. A settlement was reached in the compensation case. The case was led by attorney Camilla K. Puggaard and attorney Morten Bjerregaard.
The class action lawsuit regarding Hellerup Finans A/S
Hellerup Finans A/S consisted of a number of companies that made investments in more than 15 different companies. A three-digit group of private investors provided capital for the investments. The capital provided was also in the three-digit million range. After a plan for the reconstruction of Hellerup Finans A/S failed, the group of companies was placed under bankruptcy proceedings, which led, among other things, to a class action lawsuit for management liability against the former CEO and against the auditing company. The CEO was represented by lawyer Morten Bjerregaard and was acquitted of all allegations.

Attorney Morten Bjerregaard is the attorney for one of the management members in the case brought by the bankruptcy estate of the aforementioned lighting company. The case is currently pending at the Eastern High Court.
Qudos Insurance A/S
Qudos Insurance A/S went bankrupt at the end of 2018, which, as has been well described in the press, has led to a number of lawsuits. Attorney Morten Bjerregaard represents one of the former members of management.
